Boca Raton Office
Bill Miller and his team participate in a variety of outreach projects that benefit the local community. The service initiatives reflect the values of our firm: leadership, fellowship and empathy towards others.
Since 2014, Bill has been a member of the Rotary Club of Downtown Boca Raton, whose mission is to support health and wellness. Through rotary, Bill has chaired the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s for the past two years, helping raise nearly $10,000 in donations for research of this disease. Bill and his family also regularly volunteer their time to help families build affordable housing with Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach county.
On a more global scale, Bill and his affiliate, Valmark Financial Group, have supported the work of Hope Gel®, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides vital, life-saving nutrients to those suffering from malnutrition – and provides the essential human element of hope to let those impacted know that someone cares. Hope Gel® was started by loading a few cases of Hope Gels into a van and shipping them to Haiti via a local air transport company. Hope Gel has grown case by case through the tireless efforts of the entire Hope Gel Team. In February of 2016, Hope Gel partnered with Food For The Poor and through their extensive distribution network, tens of thousands of Hope Gels are being distributed in Haiti and Guatemala to feed starving children. We are proud to have distributed $5,000 (2018) and another $6,000 (2019) to Hope Gel® as a result of our partnership in Valmark’s Global Gift Fund.
